In the heart of Marwar, where the desert sands stretch endlessly, a vision is taking shape—this specific vision that has the power to change lives- The Khimsar Cricket Academy, conceptualized by Dhananjai Singh Khimsar, will be more than just a cricket training center; it will soon be the realization of our unwavering commitment to nurturing talent and creating opportunities for the youth of rural Rajasthan. The Academy is still under planning phase and our vision will be implemented by 2026.
Project Khelo Marwar
At the core of this initiative is Project Khelo Marwar, a well-established endeavor
dedicated to discovering and supporting rural talent across various sports disciplines.
Yet, despite its success, there has been a glaring void—no dedicated cricket academy exists in Khimsar or the surrounding rural areas. The Khimsar Cricket Academy will fill this gap, not just as a space for play, but as a center where young cricketers can hone their skills and pursue their dreams with dedication and discipline.
The academy will be built by 2026
The academy will be built by 2026 on 45 bighas of land, providing state-of-the-art training facilities, mentorship from seasoned coaches, and most importantly, a platform for rural youth to step into the world of professional cricket. For many in the region, cricket is more than a sport; it is a pathway to opportunity. The academy hopes to finish construction in the coming time, positioning itself as the cornerstone of these young athletes’ journeys.
Our vision
Our vision is to nurture local talent and give the youth of Marwar the opportunity to compete on larger platforms, both nationally and beyond. By harnessing the potential of the region’s young cricketers, the academy will foster individual growth and bring pride and recognition to the community. In every bat swing and ball bowled, the academy will echo its our founder’s hope of seeing rural talent flourish.
