The Khimsar Foundation was founded by Dhananjai Singh, who hails from the erstwhile royal family of Khimsar. An entrepreneur, social activist and politico – Dhananjai dons many a hat. Growing up, he was conditioned to be the ‘giver’ for he was taught that being the truest measure ofa man.
A graduate from the prestigious Ecole Hotelier Glion in Switzerland, Dhananjai returned to his ancestral home in Khimsar, where he felt an urge to help the local community. Despite the existence of numerous charitable organisation that concentrate on specific issues, Dhananjai believes in broader and more versatile scope of service. Moreover, considering the ever-increasing and multi-faceted problems encountered by people in rural India, this approach, according to him, reaps more feasibility in comparison to more specifically targeted ones. This is where the idea of Khimsar Foundation was conceived.
We at the Khimsar Foundation focus on instilling hope in the people of rural Rajasthan for a better tomorrow. We direct our goals towards active participation in various social and political programmes that aim to work for the development of our region. When it comes to delivering effective and accountable service, we identify a genuine solution by serving at a more micro level. We intend to solve the problems in the day- to – day lives of the people in Rajasthan who fall below the poverty line, by facilitating a wholesome growth and aiming at their common welfare.
Our team lays immense emphasis on maintaining a personal connection with the rural public by executing the objectives of our Trust. The involvement of people from the rural sector also plays an extremely vital role for dealing with the problems at the grass root level.
